The wave is out in the bay
A local operator describes Tanjung Aan as a reef-based A-frame with both directions available, with the right generally offering the longer ride. The bottom and take-off area matter more than the beach’s appearance. This is not automatically equivalent to a first lesson on sandy whitewater.
